To ensure our staff and guests are safe during this time we must temporarily close our doors until it is safe to re-open. We thought it would be helpful to let you know how we are managing our future bookings, how you can keep in touch, and our strategy for re-opening to ensure you and the team are protected.


Following the Scottish governments announcement on the 21st of May, we will be in phase 3 of the COVID-19 route map to reopen. At this point the Scottish government has not announced any dates for this. We will continuously monitor the information and keep this page updated as and when it is released.

The health and safety of yourself and your team will be our top priority when we re-open, and we have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure that we provide as safe an environment as we possibly can for all when you visit.

Our Reopening Strategy:

  • Extended opening hours and staff working shifts where required to ensure social distancing by reducing the number of staff and clients in the salon at any one time

Our new temporary opening hours:

Mon to Fri - 9am - 8pm

Sat / Sun - 9am - 7pm

  • Reception will be used for checking in clients only to keep the reception area clear

  • Clients may only attend the salon on an appointment basis to ensure salon numbers are correctly managed

  • We will offer ‘check out in the chair’ for clients to pay, purchase home hair care products, and book further appointments

  • Payment will be by card only

  • Chairs have been strategically removed and placed to ensure clients and staff are well distanced along with additional perspex screening protection between stations and backwashes

  • All magazines have been removed from the salon

  • Eco friendly disposable cups with individually wrapped sugar, tea bags and one use stirrers will be used (if we can do this safely)

  • Every chair, work station and all hairdressing equipment will be sanitised between each client

  • Every team member is trained and certified in correct sanitation and disinfection practices

  • Every client will have a freshly laundered gown and disposable Eco friendly towels will be used

  • Every station has hand sanitiser with an additional touch free sanitiser at the reception area which will be used by staff and clients before each appointment

  • We will communicate with all guests before their appointment to ensure that anyone who risks bringing the virus into the salon will not enter and will be rescheduled

  • All team members will have non contact temperature checks at the start of each day

  • As social distancing cannot be maintained during the appointment, stylists and clients must wear a face covering during the appointment. To assist your stylist, wear a face covering that loops behind your ears rather than your hair. If you do not have one, instructions can be found on how to make one here

  • All clients will have their hair washed at their appointment. No dry cuts will take place at this time

  • All stylists will wear gloves where possible



It's no secret that an entire nation will be needing their hair done after the closure. We will also need to be responsible with social distancing so we can't allow overcrowding in the salon. We want to book everyone in the fairest way possible.

As soon as we have a date to reopen we will be calling people in advance to get them booked in, in this order. 1st priority for a call as soon as we have our opening date will be the people who had an appointment booked during the closure. We will then call everyone who has an outstanding gift card for an appointment. Next we will be calling everyone who has asked for an appointment. So we know hair salons discourage it, but if you've caved and reached for the box dye don't panic. It's a hell of a long time not to see your hair stylist . We will just need to do another skin and strand test at least 48 hours before your next colour appointment. This is to check how your hair will lift and is also a requirement of all salon insurers. We don't want any unexpected reactions so best to be safe!

If you haven't reached for the box dye but you haven't been to the salon for colour in over 6 months we will also require a skin test at least 48 hours before your colour appointment.

This only takes a minute in the salon, so be sure to plan your colour 48 hours after you can make it in for a skin test if you need it.


We want to say thank you to every single member of the NHS. You are all heroes in our eyes and the eyes of the nation. We want to show you a small token of our gratitude by giving all NHS employees a £15 voucher towards any service when we reopen . Just show us your NHS card when you visit.
